LOS ANGELES (Apr. 24) - In two weeks GT LIVE will kick in the door at Phoenix International Raceway with a blockbuster line-up.
None other than tuner industry favorites NOB Taniguchi and Tarzan Yamada will team up in the #67 SpeedSource Mazda RX-8 in search of the first-ever win in Grand Am by Japanese star drivers.
The EVO versus WRX battle will continue in the GT Track Attack Championship (http://www.gtlivetour.com/events/att/attack.html) when the all-conquering Cyber EVO faces off against the record-holding Zero Sports BTZ601R WRX in this inaugural professional time attack competition.
Not only that, Japanese motor sports stars Max Orido (Super GT), NOB Taniguchi (Super GT), Tarzan Yamada (Super Taikyu), Yasushi Kikuchi (Super GT) and Kazuhiro Koizumi (Super Taikyu) will be in the field, hoping to get a share of the $10K purse.
On the motorcycle side, stunt stars Darius Khashabi, Kane Friesen, Warren Jamez, E-Dub and Jason Britton will face off in the first-ever XDL U.S. Stunt Riding Championship (http://www.gtlivetour.com/events/att/xdl_stunt_ride.html) going for a record 10Gs in prize money in the individual freestyle competition.

GT LIVE also provides unprecedented opportunities for fans to get involved in the action.
The GT Sim Race (http://www.gtlivetour.com/events/att/gtsr.html) features three and a half hours of track time dedicated to nothing else but giving fans rides in 2-seater track stars such as the Speed Source Mazda RX-8 (Taniguchi), HPI Super Taikyu Impreza (Koizumi), Cyber EVO (Yamada), BTZ601R (Kikuchi), Spoon RS-X (Orido), Spoon Fit, Spoon Euro-R and XS Engineering EVO.
Although open to all makes and models, the EVO versus WRX battle will heat up in no less than three activities: Auto-X, Rally-X and the Car & Bike Expo.
Auto-X (http://www.gtlivetour.com/events/att/auto-x.html) offers a minimum of 12, 30-minute sessions a day for fans to bring their own car and record timed laps.
Rally-X is a competition open to anyone at any skill level. It allows enthusiasts to give rally racing a try in their own car.
For fans more into "show" than "go," the Car & Bike Expo (http://www.gtlivetour.com/events/att/car_bike.html) offers a great chance at nabbing a front row seat to all the action at GT LIVE. There is no cost to enter and participants are eligible to win valuable prizes while showing off their rides.
